MONOCHROME MONDAY

‘I look horrible in black and white,’ said no one ever! I love a classic monochrome look. So effortless yet put together. Some people may want to add a pop of colour..and that’s fine. Whatever rocks your boat. But I personally feel that it takes away from the look. If you are looking to make a statement (without looking like you are trying to), this is the look for you.

Can we talk about the awesomeness of the sleeveless blazer?! It’s the perfect way to look formal in the sweltering heat. Blazers are one of the easiest ways to look formal. You can layer a blazer over anything and voilà, formal attire. But in this heat, a girl’s gotta have options. I wore this to a lunch date with a friend in a semi-formal setting. For work, it can be styled with a dress or skirt with a longer hemline.

I think we can do without pointy-toes for the day, no? These shoes are a well needed breath of fresh air and I must say, these are my newly beloved footwear in whom I am well pleased. You shall be seeing a lot of us very soon.
